I believe you can only try 4 dresses and need to have an appointment ahead of time. The person who helped me told me on the 4th try that I couldn't try any more.I was really saddened and disappointed that I can't find anything and that I didn't know they only allowed 4 tries.
I showed her the dresses that I had been looking for so she showed me similar ones, but they looked horrible on me. On the last try I showed her the one that a friend had tried and she showed me a similar one in a different color. I didn't think the color would look good till she had me try it on and my jaw dropped. I just wish I had known better to let her choose for me since I didn't know what looks good. They have seen so much they can better suggest styles and colors. luckily on that last try I ended up loving the dress. they are pretty pricey and the alteration is another add but they did end up giving me a beautiful dress at the end. the 4 try only was really disappointing part of my journey there. I would go back again when needed but this time I would ask her what she recommends. They also have pictures that can help you choose.

I discovered Instyle while searching for a similar formal cocktail dress for my birthday. Unknown to me that these are like wedding dresses and should be ordered 6-8 weeks in advance. Although the dress I feel in love with wasn't available in my timeline, the ladies at the boutique helped me find a similar dress that was and made all the needed alterations in house to make an amazing dress for me. The team was warm and made me feel comfortable and made the process easy. I am now searching for my next formal event so I have a reason to go back!

So lucky I found this place. I was walking on Ventura and saw this boutique, I was looking for a dress for my nephews Baptism. From the moment I walked in I felt so welcoming, I told the the girl working there what idea I had and what I was looking for. Loved the way she was so helpful and really tried to help me find the dress I was looking for. Thanks to her we picked out a few dresses and I fell in love with the dress I decided to get. Beautiful dresses and great alterations. Karen picked the dress that I ended up falling in love with and ultimately buying. The seamstress that did my alterations was wonderful and talented. She was able to accommodate me and get the alterations done before a flight. I definitely recommend this store to all my friends

Love this store and the owner, Knarik! Ive been to couple other small boutiques that try to just sell products without understanding what you really want. Knarik spent her time in picking a dress for me, and discussing how we can customize it to fit what i had in mind. I had a family emergency and wasnt able to go to my fitting on time, but they were able to fit my schedule and made the dress within a week. Everyone was obsessed at how beautiful my dress was! Thanks Knarik, i will DEFINITELY be back.

In style boutique - Karen & Ana are extremely helpful. I had 11 bridesmaids in my wedding and they were by far the best dressed. In style boutique has an array of dresses to choose from but the best part was the price given to my bridesmaids which was inexpensive & reasonable. They worked with each individual bridesmaid, fittings were done in a timely manner, they contacted the girls about the alterations, and everything went so smooth. Their collection of dresses range from every type of occasion. If the collection in the store doesn't suffice they also have catalogues of vendors they are authorized to sell/order. My bridesmaid dresses were beautiful and thanks to Ana, the dresses were ordered quickly before they were discontinued. In Style Boutique has been a pivotal part in making my special day so beautiful! Thank you, this review is long overdue!

I've been here for alteration and custom design only - no purchases off the rack.  My experience was very positive.  The owner was patient and knowledgeable and offered expert advice at every turn.

I requested alterations to a bridesmaid dress and everything was spot on.  The owner had many thoughtful suggestions and would explain exactly why a particular alteration may or may not be possible based on the type and cut of fabric.

The custom-made top looks fantastic and is multipurpose: great for special occasions as well as for slightly more casual events - exactly what I had in mind and something that I'd been looking for in shops/ online for ages, but never found anything suitable.  I get compliments every time I wear it.
